I interviewed two other individuals, one a broker/owner, who either does not know her business or lowballed me for the market analysis. The other was really good but did not return a call for a couple days and got ruled out. Dave was on it from the start, exuding competence and demonstrating ability and knowledge without ever being overbearing or pushy. He engendered confidence from the start. Further, he returned calls/texts, came back with a truly thorough market analysis with solid comps, and discussed target markets and strategies. Then he began going the extra mile. He provided aid to move appliances, furniture, check on the house while I was out of state, worked on our sale while on vacation, and even gave me a lift a couple times when my only transportation had to have a sudden repair at the mechanic. He's a pro through and through. A broker who seeks such agents is a smart broker! There is no question that we would use Dave again if we were buying or selling in that area again. And if he should relocate to where we moved to, we would be happy to use him here should we buy or sell again. Dave has been highly recommended by us to a number of people in that area.

Dave was very personable and even let us use his trailer to help us move. Dave was one of the first people that I met when we moved to Dowagiac. In fact, he helped us find a rental house for our fast move to Dowagiac, which says a lot about him because I know that he did not make any profit from that, he just helped a stranger in need. So when it came time a few months later to buy a house, there was no question who we wanted as our realtor. Dave was wonderful to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, and did not sugar coat things. He was straightforward, and we really appreciated that. He knew the comparable houses in the area for pricing. He was always very quick in getting us into a house that we wanted to see. We would recommend Dave as a realtor to any friend.
